Runs in your browser

Supported when the URL actually contains reusable credentials.

Private by design: this page does not send the values you enter to a conversion endpoint. It only parses and assembles text locally.

How conversion works

Two login formats, one practical problem.

Different IPTV players ask for the same account information in different shapes. This tool helps reformat those details without contacting the streaming server.

01

Paste the format you already have

Use the full M3U URL, or enter the server URL, username and password separately.

02

Parse or assemble locally

JavaScript reads the URL structure, decodes embedded credentials, or safely URL-encodes fields when generating a new link.

03

Copy only what your player needs

Use Xtream fields for players that ask for server + username + password, or use the generated M3U link for playlist-based players.

Player compatibility

Choose the output format your app actually accepts.

Player capabilities can change by platform and version. These cards describe common workflows rather than promising that every release supports every login type.

IPTV Smarters-style appsCommonly accept Xtream-style credentials and, in many versions, M3U playlists.Good fit: Xtream
TiviMate-style TV playersOften support both Xtream and playlist workflows, depending on version and platform.Good fit: Xtream / M3U
VLC Media PlayerUse a network M3U URL rather than separate Xtream login fields.Good fit: M3U
Smart TV playlist appsMany portal-style Smart TV apps are built around M3U playlist URLs.Good fit: M3U

Privacy & security

Your playlist URL is effectively a password.

If a URL contains a username and password, anyone who can read that link may be able to reuse those credentials. Treat converter inputs and outputs as sensitive account data.

Nothing is stored by the tool

No localStorage, cookie, or query-string persistence is used for the credentials you type into the converter.

No account validation request

The converter intentionally does not call player_api.php, get.php, or any provider endpoint to “test” the credentials.

Clear after use on shared devices

Use the Clear button when you finish, especially on a shared computer. Your browser or password manager may still have its own form-history behavior.

Do not publish screenshots

Mask usernames, passwords, M3U URLs, portal URLs and device identifiers before posting setup screenshots publicly.

Common conversion errors

If it does not convert, check the URL shape first.

01

“No username or password found”

The link may be a direct token URL rather than a credential-bearing get.php playlist. A working playlist does not guarantee extractable Xtream fields.

02

“Server URL must start with http:// or https://”

Do not guess the protocol. Copy the full server address exactly as your provider supplied it, including any port.

03

The generated M3U URL does not log in

The converter only builds a standard URL. Your provider may use a custom endpoint, different output parameter, IP lock, device lock, or another authentication method.

04

Special characters look different in the URL

That is normal URL encoding. For example, spaces and symbols may be represented with percent-encoded characters so the link remains valid.

01What is the difference between an M3U URL and Xtream Codes?+

An M3U URL is one playlist link. Xtream-style login details are normally split into a server URL, username, and password. Many services generate an M3U link that contains the same username and password as query parameters, which is why the two formats can often be converted locally. They are not guaranteed to be interchangeable for every provider.

02Does this converter upload my M3U URL, username, or password?+

No. The converter code on this page parses and builds URLs in your browser. It does not submit the form to EagleCast TV, call a conversion API, or store your credentials in localStorage. You should still avoid using shared or public computers for sensitive account credentials.

03Which M3U URL formats can this tool extract?+

It recognizes common credential-bearing get.php URLs that include username and password parameters, plus path-style playlist URLs such as /playlist/USERNAME/PASSWORD/m3u_plus. It can also handle the same shapes behind a server path prefix. Direct token links, signed CDN URLs, short links, and proxied playlist URLs may not expose reusable Xtream credentials.

04Why does my M3U link work in a player but fail in the converter?+

A working M3U link does not necessarily reveal a server username and password. Some providers use opaque tokens, one-time links, proxy endpoints, signed URLs, or custom API routes. If the credentials are not present in the link, a browser-only parser cannot recover them.

05What M3U link does Xtream → M3U create?+

By default the tool creates a standard get.php URL using your server, username, password, type=m3u_plus, and the output format you choose. MPEG-TS is a common default; HLS/m3u8 can be useful in players that prefer segmented streaming. Whether a provider supports both output modes depends on its server.

06What are the Player API and XMLTV links shown in the results?+

They are convenience URLs commonly used by Xtream-compatible panels: player_api.php for account/category API data and xmltv.php for EPG data. The converter only constructs those URLs from the same credentials; it does not contact them or verify that your provider has those endpoints enabled.

07Does converting credentials validate that my subscription is active?+

No. This tool converts syntax only. It does not log in to the provider, test channels, check expiry dates, fetch a playlist, or verify an account. That privacy choice keeps your credentials on your device.

08Can I use the output with any IPTV player?+

Only if that player supports the output format. Some players accept Xtream-style server/username/password, some accept M3U URLs, and some accept both. App capabilities can change by platform and version, so use the EagleCast installation guide or the player's current documentation when in doubt.

09Why does the server URL include a port?+

A port is part of the server address when the service is not using the protocol's default port. Keep the port exactly as supplied. Removing or changing it can point the player to a different service or make the login fail.

10What if my password contains special characters?+

For Xtream → M3U, the converter URL-encodes the username and password when it builds query parameters. For M3U → Xtream, standard URL decoding is applied when credentials are extracted. Always copy the displayed credential value rather than editing encoded characters inside the generated URL by hand.

11Should I paste my credentials into random online converter sites?+

No. Treat playlist URLs and Xtream credentials as account secrets. Use tools you trust, prefer browser-only utilities, and avoid pages that send credentials to unknown servers or ask you to upload a playlist when local parsing is enough.

12Where do I use the converted details on EagleCast-supported devices?+

Open the EagleCast TV Installation Guide and choose your device. It explains where Xtream Codes, M3U, or portal details are normally entered on Fire TV, Android/Google TV, Smart TVs, Apple devices, Windows, Mac, Chromecast, MAG, Formuler, and Enigma2 setups.

Need credentials you can test?

Try EagleCast TV on your own player and device.

Use the 24-hour trial to test your preferred setup, then keep the login format that works best with your player.
